Screen Relay allows you to mirror, cast, and control your Android device from a web browser over the same local WiFi network. The app runs a local server on your device and streams screen content only to devices you connect.
When you start screen sharing, the app uses Android’s MediaProjection API to capture and stream your screen locally to connected devices.
If enabled, device audio is captured and streamed locally to the connected browser. Audio is not stored or transmitted to external servers.
If you enable remote touch control, the app uses Android’s Accessibility Service to inject gestures requested by you from the connected browser.
The Accessibility Service does not collect personal data, monitor unrelated activity, or transmit data outside your device.
The app displays your local IP address and may register a local hostname (e.g., sr.local) to allow access within your network.
A temporary 6-digit PIN is generated for session authentication. It is used only while sharing is active and is not stored permanently.
Screen Relay does not store screen or audio streams externally. Any preferences remain locally on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Streaming occurs within your local network. Any device on the same network with the correct address and PIN may connect while sharing is active.
For security, use trusted WiFi networks and stop sharing when finished.
Screen Relay is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
